Ramaiah Institute of Technology: Ramaiah Institute of Technology is an autonomous private engineering college established in 1962, the college is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University headquartered at Belgaum, Karnataka. Since August 2007, RIT has been academically autonomous for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs, the college has academic freedom in framing its own schemes of study, curriculum, and student evaluation.
Mount Carmel College: Mount Carmel College, Autonomous (Affiliated to Bengaluru Central University) is a college in Vasanth Nagar established in 1944 in Trichur as Carmel College which shifted to Bengaluru in 1948 and offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses and is re-accredited with an A+ Grade by NAAC. The college is affiliated to Bengaluru Central University but functions as an autonomous institution not under it. Mount Carmel Institute Of Management which offers Post Graduation Diploma in Business Management for women only. Indian Institute of Science: It is a public, deemed, research university for higher education and research in science, engineering, design, and management. The institute was established in 1909 with active support from Jamsetji Tata and Krishna Raja Wadiyar IV and that is why it is also locally known as the “Tata Institute”.
Bangalore Institute of Technology: Bangalore Institute of Technology is an engineering college offering undergraduate and graduate engineering courses with a good record of engineers passing out yearly from the college.
