So far as memes vs achievement posts goes; neither provide much discussion, but at least meme posts have significantly more variance to them besides whether or not the OP utilizes the full clickbait lineup (may not mean much to you, but following XX years and no one to share it with, I FINALLY) or when they OSRS gold had the irl invention level to have a screenshot. This sub is now”HELLO! HI THERE! PLEASE NOTICE ME. I have no one to talk about my accomplishments with. . . Look in my amazing rng, hope you’re all jealous. . . I just completed this quest. . . Please give me some attention. Dude you or your mom yourself made a cake. Hey mod this. Yeah these memes were fire and would be the content that I wish we had more of!
Memes start conversations better than actual posts speaking about the topic seriously. Hell is really a meme. I tried speaking about this topic tons of times before, but putting it into a meme format was 10x more effective and obtained hundreds of comments. The craziest aspect of it’s all is that plenty of posts tend to be even more low attempt than memes, yet get to remain. . . Since they aren’t memes. Tired with some brief title of something? No issue. Memes that took time spark and to create pleasure? They and 1 report’re gone. Why?
Wow. Mods are boring around here. I really, really despise the”After X years of enjoying, I’ve finally achieved 99 cooking and I don’t have any one else to share it with” posts. It’s always the exact same formula. Include finally, healthy or”woe is me” in certain made-up bullshit story and you also guaranteed a ton of upvotes. I swear to god, if after 15 years you haven’t produced at least 1 friend in this game, 99 cooking is the least of your worries. Why exactly are memes even deleted within this sub? Still deleted?? Big agree. I don’t like to downvote or take away from people’s achievements however there are so many posts of 99s and maxing etc it gets really mundane to see.

The very low effort thing I do not understand. I agree completely, like a meme isn’t assumed to be this masterpiece which you’ve spent hours and hours is it? For me a meme is something that you see, laugh in and keep scrolling. I really don’t see the big thing. If someone cares about just how much”effort” someone put into producing something which they believe at least 1 person will appreciate as much as them want their priorities checked. Would these people ever consider a child’s first drawing and be just like”the fuck is this low effort shit? What is the purpose? My point still stands although I’m not saying that the meme creators are children.

The memes are the greater content. Reaching a 99 shouldnt even be allowed to be posted, who cares. Reaching a single 99 isn’t that large of an achievement, I dont even believe maxing should be allowed either, its just a glorified attention post and does not add anything to the reddit. Or any achievement for this matter. This subreddit ought to be on the game, not to yourself. I think sure things are fine, such as world-first sort of achievements. The first 4k telos, or even the very first max xp, etc. .
