Sometimes you might face trouble while trying to sign-in to your Yahoo Account because you forgot the password of your account. Well, that’s not a big problem. You can easily reset your Yahoo account password by using your recovery phone number or your alternate email.
There are some cases when you don’t have access to your recovery contact resources (phone and alternate email). I have experienced the same problem and I was worried about how to reset my Yahoo password without alternate email or phone number because I don’t use that phone and email anymore.
Yahoo Password Recovery Using Recovery Emails
Here I have shared some instruction to reset your Yahoo password without using the recovery phone and email as follows:
Open your web browser
Go to Yahoo mail sign-in page
Click on I forgot password
Enter your Yahoo username (email address)
Click on next
If you get any option such as to send code on your number through SMS or send link to the email you need to skip them by clicking on I don’t have access to this phone and I don’t have access to this email
Now you will get the option to answer the security questions, you have to click on OK
Now answer the security questions correctly and click on submit
If the answers are correct, you will get the screen for the password reset
Enter the new password
Confirm the new password
Click on OK or DONE
Once you clicked on done you will be logged in to your account and if you want to access Yahoo account using another device you can start using the new password. This is how to recover the Yahoo password without phone number and alternate email.
If you have not set up the security questions on your Yahoo account you will not get the option to answer the security questions for the account recovery.
