To take a screenshot or picture of what’s on your HONOR 8X phone
1.If it is a long web page, do as bellow:
Swipe down from the status bar to open the notification panel, then touch the shortcut to take a scrolling screenshot. Touch the button within three seconds, and the screen will automatically scroll down and keep taking the screenshot. During the scrolling process, touch the scrolling area to end the screenshot.
The other way is to simultaneously press and hold the Power button and the Volume down button to take a screenshot of the full screen.
2. If it will be a short video, go to record as the following steps:
Swipe down from the status bar to open the notification panel, then find the shortcut to start recording the screen. Select Microphone, System, or None from Sound source based on your needs. To end the recording, touch the button in the upper left corner of the screen.
You can also press the Power button and the Volume up button at the same time to begin recording.
To some degree, the shortcuts should be more convenient since you won’t press the power or volume button too soon.
To edit or share the screenshot on your HONOR 8X
You can go Gallery > Albums to edit the photos. And of course, the photos are able to be shared directly through Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Huawei Share, and other third-party apps. Once you’ve taken an HONOR 8X screenshot, it’s easy to share them on Facebook, Twitter, email or Google+, or anywhere else.
