The helicopter ride service is available for those too who are not guests of Park Hyatt. You can enquire about the duration and cost of the rides at the time of booking.

Goa Tourism has launched this helicopter joy ride in Goa in collaboration with Pawan Hans Ltd. Generally, the price of the tickets charges around Rs. 3500 per person and the ride continues for approximately 10 minutes. The ride starts at Park Hyatt hotel which proceeds towards the coast Utorda, Majoda, passing Arossim, and then towards Gonsua, Colva, and far beyond than that.

History of heli-tour in Goa:

The helicopter tourism of Pawan Hans Ltd. faced strong opposition in the Northern part of Goa and then moved towards the Cansaulim village of South Goa. Pawan Hans also runs successful helicopter tourism in Maharashtra. For the landing of the helicopters, it decided to build the helipad over Hotel Park Hyatt. it is being in use for operating the helicopters to offer picturesque views of Goa beaches to the tourists.
Though Goa helicopter ride service faced oppositions also in South Goa by the locale groups of Cansaulim Arossim Cuelim Civic Consumer Forum and others, GTDC has established the legality of the joy rides. They say there is nothing illegal and unsafe about helicopter rides. They have all the necessary permissions from DGCA, NAVY, police and airport authority and district administration. Hence, they demand that such kind of tourism initiatives will encourage more high-quality tourists on the land of Goa.
