- Unreasonable accommodations:
An accommodation is considered to be unreasonable if it substantially alters the standards of the educational mission. In other words, the unreasonable accommodations alter the requirements which are essential for the programs or the nature of the program.
The unreasonable accommodations also allow the access to the program when the student is not meeting the academic as well as technical standards and needs that are required for admissions.
Apart from this, the unreasonable accommodation can also cause undue financial hardship to the users along with posing a direct threat to the safety and health of the users. It can be seen as just the opposite of reasonable accommodation.
