Mountain bikes are designed for all types of terrain, from flat gravel paths to steep rocky trails. The bikes usually have sturdy frames, thick, knobby tires and suspension in the front to absorb bumps from rough terrain. There are three primary styles of mountain bikes: no suspension, front-suspension and full suspension. They are all sized the same – using a riders height and leg length to determine frame size. This calculator will recommend a mountain bike size based on your measurements. If you don’t know your leg length, you will get a range of frame sizes to try out.
