CLAT 2019 Application From

The CLAT 2019 application form will be released in January and can be filed online. Here is everything that you need to know.

Pre-requisites

1. Name, DOB, email id, parent’s name, mobile number, address, etc
2. Academic details (percentage and marks in school/college)
3. Passport size photograph and signature in the mentioned format
4. Scanned copy of caste certificate (if applicable) in PDF format
5. Scanned copy of Certificate of Impairment for Specially Abled Persons (if applicable) in PDF/JPG/JPEG format
6. Certificate to support the candidate’s claim for NRI/NRI-sponsored candidate (if applicable)
7. Scanned copy of domicile certificate (if applicable)

Filling the Form

Step 1: Enter basic information

1. Visit the official website of CLAT and click ‘Apply Online’
2. Click on ‘Click here for new registration’ option
3. Enter the name, mobile number, email id, and verification captcha code
4. You will receive a provisional registration number and password on registered mobile and email. The online application will be filled using these credentials

Step 2: Upload Supporting Documents

1. Login to the website with user ID and password
2. Upload photos and signature according to the guidelines
3. The supporting documents that need to be submitted are:

5. Class X mark sheet
6. Qualifying examination mark sheet or certificate
7. Passport size photo
8. Signature of the candidate (JPG format)
9. Signature of parent/guardian (JPG format)

The application fee for General, OBC, PWD/SAP category is INR 4000, and SC/ST category is INR 3500. Students who opt for question papers of previous years need to pay INR 500 extra. The applicant will receive confirmation of the submission of CLAT 2019 form via SMS or email.
