Amazfit Bip S
Here we are: as anticipated by the rumors of the past few weeks, the new Amazfit Bip S has been officially presented. In some ways it tastes like “already seen”, but for others it is still a very interesting smartwatch, which is halfway between the new Amazfit GTS and the “old” Amazift Bip Lite and Bip .
Let’s find out together.
Amazfit GTS news
It is a refined version of the first original Amazfit Bip ( HERE the review ) – from which it primarily takes up the aesthetics with the rectangular screen – which can now count on an improved water resistance ( 5ATM ), tracking mode swimming and new exercises, as well as controls for music playback via Bluetooth.
The device is constructed of stainless steel , which makes it super light and resistant to diving up to 50 meters. All for a weight of only 31 grams.
The display is a 1.28-inch trans reflective unit (excellent in the sun) with a resolution of 176 x 176 pixels which houses a Bio Tracker PPG sensor for monitoring heartbeats, a GPS / GLONASS module, the Bluetooth 5.0 and a standard sensor and connectivity compartment.
