Ministry of Human Resource and Development announced the news that JEE Mains exam will be conducted by NTA, twice a year. The JEE Main 2019 examination will be conducted in multiple sessions from 6th January 2019 to 20th January 2019. It will be conducted online as a Computer Based Exam. No candidates would be allowed to appear in the examination in pen – paper mode. The aspirants can appear in both the examinations thus, they will not loose a time period of 1 year which was earlier the case. Showing enthusiasm toward the test, 9.65 lakh candidates have applied for JEE Main 2019.
NTA will release admit card for JEE main 2019 january exam on 17 december 2018. NTA will not send admit cards to any canditate via post, candidates have to download the admit card through the official website of JEE MAIN i.e. jeemain.nic.in by logging into their jee main account with their login credentials.

- Visit the official website of NTA: nta.ac.in
- For logging in you need to enter your application number, password generated at the time of filling the application form and security pin.
- Your admit card will appear on the screen. Candidate have to take the printout of the admit card.
How to download admit card if you have forgotten your application number or password
Visit the official website of JEE Main (jeemain.nic.in) and than click on ‘I can’t access my account’. Following options will appear on the screen
1) I forgot my Application number
2) I forgot my Password
Select the desired option and click continue
Now you can login in with the help of Security question set during form filling, with the help of code sent on your registered mobile number or by the verification link sent on your registered mail Id based on your selection.

Do’s and doesn’t for JEE main admit card 2019
- Doesn’t forget to carry your admit card, a valid ID proof and a recent passport size photo identical to the uploaded one.
- Doesn’t carry any electronic gadgets or calculators in the examination hall.
- Reach the Examination center before the reporting time.
- Take only neccessary stationary with you.
- Candidate should keep the admit card safely even after the exam.
- Verify all the details on your admit card and contact NTA in case of any error or discrepancy.
