The unfolding outbreak of Coronavirus around the world is affecting global markets, production schedules, and local behaviors, all of which affect us here at Franco Uomo and La Donna Bridal Atelier on Santana Row. We would like to be completely transparent with you and advise on how we are proactively responding to these changes.

NEW STORE OPERATIONS POLICY
To ensure that our store remains a safe place for both our employees and our customers, we are implementing the following procedures:

All scheduled appointments will be “PRIVATE,” meaning doors will remain locked while scheduled visits are in progress. To visit Franco Uomo, please submit an appointment request on our appointment page.

All staff and customers are required to wear masks at all times.

All surfaces will be routinely cleaned throughout the day, as well as before and after appointments or customer visits.

Employees will wash their hands regularly, including before and after appointments.

All garments tried on by customers will be placed into garment bags and quarantined for 3 days before they can be restocked and tried on by another customer.

Tailors will wear gloves and masks while working on garments.
SANTANA ROW OPERATIONS CHANGES
Santana Row is also working actively to make sure the shopping center remains safe for customers and employees.

As of Wednesday, March 11th, all major events on Santana Row have been cancelled. This includes the grand opening of our new store, La Donna Bridal Atelier, which was set to take place on Sunday March 15th. La Donna will be following the same procedures and guidelines as Franco Uomo.

Deep‐cleaning and disinfecting Santana Row with Pro‐Sweep, a professional janitorial company headquartered in Silicon Valley that specializes in industrial and large‐scale cleaning and sanitizing operations. They will use EPA approved products to ensure all hard surfaces, high touch areas and hard‐to‐reach places are being regularly cleaned with disinfectant.

Although not required by the Santa Clara County Public Health Department, soft surfaces will be deep cleaned and sanitized as well.

Increasing availability of hand‐sanitizers in high traffic areas that contain the CDC‐ recommended 60% alcohol.

Redoubling stringent cleaning protocol throughout the day. This includes high temperature sanitizing of all manipulatives and disinfecting high‐touch surfaces throughout Santana Row.

PRODUCTION AND DELIVERY OF ORDERS
Global production markets have been affected by the coronavirus outbreak. While we initially experienced a delay in orders placed in January, we have successfully rerouted orders to maintain our delivery times and ensure that all custom suit orders are delivered by their due dates.
Whether you need a perfectly matched bow-tie for a full-custom wedding suit or simply have a favorite fabric that you need to have tied around your neck, Franco Uomo’s Custom Made Ties are the way to go. The process starts with the selection of a custom fabric (often picked to match the inside lining of a jacket or sport coat). We take measurements to make sure that your tie is the perfect length for your neck and torso and then get to work with the fabrication process in our Master Tailor Studio located right here on Santana Row.
We do not currently expect further delays in any custom suit orders.
