Different Types Of Sauces

Sauces are the lifeline of food which adds a flavor, moisture, and visual apple to a dish. The sauce is in liquid, semi-solid and in cream form which can be used in food while cooking or as a topping for the food. The sauces are used in sweet, salty and spicy food to enhance the taste of the dish. There are various types of sauce available all the word.

Types of sauces that can be used in different types of dishes:

Green sauces – Green sauce is normally uncooked sauce made of herb and known as green chutney in India. It is made from a mixture of onion, garlic, fresh herbs (mint and coriander) and chilies, etc. Green sauce is the best Indian hot sauce.

Hot sauce – Hot sauces are the chili sauce or the pepper sauce used in various salted and spicy food. Hot sauce is the spiciest sauces that are available and are consumed mostly by the peoples.

Butter sauce – Butter sauce is the sauce which is made of butter, water, and flour. Butter sauce is the thick and creamy sauce. Butter sauce is also used as a base of making other sauces. The butter sauce can be used in sweet dishes and also in salted dishes.

White sauce – White sauces are the sauce made of milk, cream, egg, and butter. It is also known as béchamel. The white sauces are used in different variety of dishes and also used as a base for making other sauces. It can also be consumed cooked and uncooked way.

Sweet sauce – Sweet and sour sauces are the sauce made of sugar, chocolates, white vinegar, soya sauce, green pepper, and onion. These sauces are perfect for dipping.

Emulsified sauce – Emulsified sauce are made by blending fats like butter or oil, and water elements like vinegar, wine or egg yolk. There are different types of emulsified sauce like vinaigrette, mayonnaise, and hollandaise.

Brown sauce – The brown sauces are mostly used in countries like the United Kingdom and Ireland. These sauces are light brown in color made of tomatoes, Dates, spices, vinegar, molasses, tamarind, dates, and raisins. The brown sauces are served with foods.

There are various other sauces which are available in India and all over the world and are consumed mostly by the peoples. The sauce can be made in the home if you are having the required ingredient present your place.
